Operations Staff



Operations: Provides administrative overview in budgeting, staffing, planning, and direct management to support the:

Community Services Block Grant Program Reports (quarterly/annually), Office Community Services-Community Services Block Grant Annual Application Plan (Community Action Plan), and the Community Services Block Grant /Informational System Survey.

Participates in community partnerships to advocate for MEO’s current programs and activities and grow services to our community in need as well invites others in the community to participate and give their support and their advocacy.

Coordination of the MEO effective maintenance programs for all agency facilities. Specific staff at each location oversees the MEO facilities program. This includes the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Family Center, the MEO transportation base yard, all Head Start sites on Maui, Moloka‘i, and Lana’i, and the Kahi Kamali’i Infant and Toddler Center. All major building systems count with maintenance contracts with on-call capability as needed. Facilities maintenance is scheduled on a regular basis for painting and repair needs. MEO facilities provide a safe work environment and facilities are maintained through daily cleaning, and building upkeep.

Weatherization Assistance Program, which includes. The installation of energy saving devices such as: Solar Water Heater Systems, Water Heater Timer Clocks and Water Heater Blankets to individuals that earned below the 150% of the poverty income guidelines.
